Student Placement Process

Student placement into projects is conducted through an algorithm-based system. The algorithm compares students’ ranked project preferences with the rankings provided by faculty members for each project. Based on this mutual evaluation, the system assigns students to projects in the most optimal way.

The first round of placements reflects the direct outcome of this algorithm.

The second round of placements is carried out to fill vacancies created by students who do not confirm their participation or indicate that they are unable to join. In this stage, students from the reserve (waiting) lists are assigned to the projects.
