Tomatoes (Solanum lycopersicum) are one of the most widely cultivated crops globally, valued for their nutritional and economic importance. Flowering time is a critical developmental milestone that directly affects fruit yield and quality. Understanding how environmental and nutritional factors influence flowering can help optimize cultivation practices for higher productivity. This study aims to investigate the effects of varying nutrient compositions and photoperiods on tomato flowering time.
Objectives of this study are to compare the flowering time of tomatoes under different nutrient compositions, to evaluate the influence of long-day (16-hour light) and controlled (12-hour light) photoperiod conditions on flowering time, to assess the interaction between nutrient composition and photoperiod in regulating flowering time.
