Development of nano carriers for drug delivery applications

Term:
2017-2018 Summer
Faculty Department of Project Supervisor:
Faculty of Engineering and Natural Sciences
Number of Students:
5

In this project students will learn to use vacuum deposition systems to fabricate polymeric nanostructures. These naostructures will be synthesized from different stimuli responsive polymers. In the second part of the project thse nanostructures will be loaded with different types of drugs and their release kinetics under different environments will be investigated. The students will learn about the design parameters for a drug delivery system and will develop a drug carrier.
