Estimating Emission Benefits from Vehicle Electrification in Turkey

In this project, the CO2 as well as particle emissions reductions from transportation system when conventional vehicles are replaced with electric vehicles will be estimated for Turkey. First, the current situation will be assessed and current emissions from transportation in Turkey will be estimated. Then, under different scenarios of electric vehicle penetration and use modes, as well electricity generation systems will be simulated to estimate emission reduction.
