With the developments next-generation sequencing technologies a variety of methods are developed to answer molecular questions at the genome scale. Nucleotide excision repair is the mechanism to remove bulky DNA lesions in the genome. XR-seq is a technique that reveals genome maps of nucleotide excision repair. In this project, students will characterize DNA repair events genome-wide. The aim of the project is to understand the association between repair and 3D organization of the human genome.
