Fabrication of Smart Nanoparticles for Bioapplications

Term:
2019-2020 Fall
Faculty Department of Project Supervisor:
Faculty of Engineering and Natural Sciences
Number of Students:

Polymeric nanoparticles have various bioapplications due to their biocompatibility, biodegradibility and low cost. In this project, students will design and synthesize nanoparticles for two main applications: drug delivery and biosensors. Students will work together with the graduate students. They will first design the nanoparticle depending on the specific application and then synthesize the particles in the lab.
At the end of the project students will have basic lab experience and learn how to work with nanomaterials.
