Mechanical Control of Electrospinning Device Using Arduino and Step Motors

In this project a mechanical setup will be prepared to modify different parameters in electrospinning test. In this regard, the injection nozzles of electrospinning will be mounted on two hands with a defined distance with the collector and will orbit around it. The aim of the PURE project is writing an Arduino based program to move theses hands in a defined speed and in a reciprocating manner.

The two injection nozzle’s hands will move separately in a reciprocating manner between the limiting dash lines. The setup will be controlled using Arduino and the motion will be powered by two separated step motors and set of gears. The ratio of the gears and the size of the step motors will be calculated by the student.
