One of the open problems in quantum mechanics is related to equiangular vectors. Standard formulation of quantum mechanics involves complex vector spaces. In d dimensions whether we can find d2 unit vectors with equal magnitudes of projection has not been answered since it was first raised by Gerhard Zauner in his doctorial thesis in 1999.  The problem is directly related to generalized measurements in quantum mechanics. In this project different statements of the problem will be reviewed and some recent methods of construction will be studied.
