In this project, the subject matter is the relativistic nature of time. After recalling the absolute
nature of time in Aristotelian and Newtonian approaches, emphasis will be put on Einsteinian
approach in which time is relative. A detailed study will be performed of time in special
relativity as well as general relativity. Inferences will be drawn on the emergent nature of time
starting from the general relativistic limit in which time does not exist at all.
