Accountability and Transparency of NGO’S in Turkey

NGO’s have become an integral part of a democratic society. There has been a noticeable increase in the number of NGO’s in Turkey, especially in recent years. However; as their numbers and influence grow, NGO’s are increasingly criticised for a lack of accountability and transparency, which are key factors for regulation and overall efficacy.
Students will be examining ways of promoting transparency and accountability for effective regulation and monitoring of NGO’s.
