Convection is a mode of heat transfer between a solid and a fluid as a result of intersurface molecular interactions.  We experience convection in our daily life in cooling of a cup of tea or heating of our homes in winter. The purpose of this project is to understand the basics of convection heat transfer and carry out some experiments. The experimental work will involve identification of convenction coefficients for some specific material-fluid pairs.
