Design and fabrication of piezoelectric scaffolds

In this prohect students will fabricate and analyze piezoelectric scaffolds for bone tissue engineering. The goal will be to design scaffolds with porosity and efficient mechanobiological functionality.
Characterization and measurements of its piezoelectric response and in-vitro testing will be required in addition to its fabrication via 3D printing and polymer processing. Analysis will be carried out using MATLAB and FEM software.
