Time – Symmetric Quantum Mechanics
The time – symmetrized quantum theory was developed by Aharonov, Bergmann, and Lebowitz in 1964 [1]. Quantum mechanics allows us to select not only the initial but also the final state of a single system. This type of pre – and postselection leads to several new ideas about what time is and how it flows. Weak measurements and weak values are consequences of time – symmetric formulation [2], [3]. In this project, after learning basic principles of time – symmetrized quantum mechanics, some applications of weak values will be studied [4].
