The project aims to collect market data from Borsa Istanbul and evaluate the impact of an Climate Index. 
A basic knowledge of statistics and econometrics is expected. Experience working with Stata is preferred.
 
Bio: I am an assistant professor at Sabanci Business School and the director of the Corporate Governance Forum of Turkey. Previously, I was a Research Economist at the World Bank's Development Economics Research Group (DECRG) leading the Global Financial Development Report (GFDR), a World Bank flagship report on financial development. My research interests include banking, financial economics, and macrofinance. 

I received my Ph.D. and MSc. (Cum laude) degrees in Economics from Tilburg University, the Netherlands, and B.A. (High Honor) again in Economics from Bogazici University, Turkey. 
 
From 2010 to 2012, I worked at the World Bank as a Consultant in DECRG. I carried out internships in various financial institutions -including Citibank and Central Bank of the Republic of Turkey- before joining the graduate program at Tilburg University. In Fall 2013, I visited NYU Stern's Department of Finance as a Visiting Scholar. I was an Assistant Professor of Finance at Ozyegin University, Turkey.
