This project aims to development of software modules for the different types of biomedical applications. The developed software will be implemented using Aurduino chips. The biomedical applications primarily will focus on the developed surgical tool for laparoscopic investigations and tele-medicine applications where the patient or older person takes nursing at home. The students will enroll in a multidisciplinary research group and collaborate with medical doctors, mechatronics, electronics and material science researchers. The students should know at least one programming languages that can be implemented for real-life applications. The students might participate in the wet-lab experiments.
The major software development criteria of this project are the control of the developed tools in an accurate, sensitive and precise way. The interface should be simple for the patients and the nurses to be able to easily operate it.
