Faculty Department of Project Supervisor:
Faculty of Engineering and Natural Sciences
Number of Students:

We are inviting applications from students interested in participating in a research and application project focused on improving post-disaster response systems. The project involves analyzing and developing solutions for more effective emergency logistics—such as shelter, food distribution, and transportation planning—as well as exploring alternative communication technologies to support survivor detection and coordination when infrastructure is disrupted.

This work is part of a broader collaborative initiative conducted under an umbrella project in cooperation with Worcester Polytechnic Institute (WPI). Students from WPI will be joining as part of their Interactive Qualifying Project (IQP), offering a chance for international collaboration and interdisciplinary exchange.

Students from various backgrounds such as engineering, computer science or social sciences are encouraged to apply.
