The goal of this project is to document the applied procedures of collection and distribution of aid packages, highlighting the success stories, identifying the gaps and deficiencies and offering solutions for improvement. If you have been affected by a disaster or have taken part in the aid and releif process and have experience, connections and network it will be a plus!
We will be researching different organizations and institutes who took part in the disaster response in the recent earthquake of Kahramanmaras and conduct surveys and interviews to collect information. After that, we will classify and organize the information and identify the best practices, sucess stories and also deficiencies and missing links. The goal will be to offer practical solutions for better management of aid collection and distribution in the form of scientific publications, as well as practical procedures for the interested organizations.
