The textile world is in the line of environmentalists’ fire for relying largely on synthetic products to boost urgently needed manufacturing capacity. To overcome the problem,a fusion of domestic renewable and sustainable products seems to be an expeditious, efficient, and affordable answer, which can also cut the costs, incurred in expansion, and manufacturing operations of the textile manufacturers, down to almost a naught. There is a great need to initiate research in the emerging thrust areas including surface modifications and respective physicochemical behaviors.
