Muhammed Kerem Kahraman, a junior in CS, has given a talk (30min presentation) on his paper “Personalized Course Schedule Planning using Answer Set Programming” at the 21st International Symposium on Practical Aspects of Declarative Languages (PADL 2019, Lisbon). He has been awarded a Travel Grant by the Association of Logic Programming for his success. Kerem started working on this project when he was a freshman. As part of a PURE project, he is currently developing a mobile app (called SUcheduler) with his friends Gürhan Elçiçek and Mert Ertörer, based on the methods discussed in his paper.
